WHAT WE DO
What we do.
Addiss Enterprises is a merchandising advisory practice. We work across the full range of promotional merchandise: catalog sourcing with judgment applied, custom decoration and kitted projects, and custom product development where the object itself is made from scratch. Most clients come to us for one kind of project and discover, over time, that we can handle most of what they need.
If it can be produced and branded, we’ve probably done it. If we haven’t, we know who has.

What we work in
Cultural institutions and museum stores
Merchandise for organizations where the object has to earn its place. That means different supplier standards, different presentation expectations, and a working knowledge of how cultural institutions think about their inventory, their margins, and their audiences. We’ve been in these stores. We know the difference between merchandise that represents an institution and merchandise that just occupies shelf space.
Custom product development
Objects that don’t exist yet: original objects requiring design inputs, tech packs, sample rounds, and factory relationships to bring to life. This is a different discipline from catalog sourcing, and it’s one we’ve practiced since the beginning. See the Custom Projects page for detail.
Custom decoration and kitting
Full-surface printing, sublimation, custom packaging, and assembled kits that go beyond adding a logo to a standard product. Custom tumbler art, all-over-print apparel, and bespoke packaging live in this category.
Awards and recognition
Crystal, metal, and custom-fabricated awards for internal recognition programs, industry honors, and milestone achievements. We work with the award specialists we trust and handle engraving accuracy, packaging, and delivery.
Sustainable sourcing
We maintain relationships with suppliers whose products meet sustainability standards, from recycled materials to responsibly manufactured apparel. Our default is to source merchandise people actually want to keep, which is itself a form of sustainability. When a project calls for verified sustainable materials, we build that into the sourcing decision rather than treating it as an upcharge.
What it’s for
Executive gifts and milestones
Higher-touch gifts for leadership, board members, major donors, and long-tenured employees. Anniversary projects, retirement gifts, and institutional milestones often sit in this category.
Campaign and launch merchandise
Merchandise tied to a marketing campaign, product launch, or rebrand. We coordinate directly with marketing teams to ensure the physical work reflects the brand it’s supporting.
Event kits and activations
Conference welcome bags, on-site giveaways, trade show swag, and activation pieces that draw traffic to a booth or event. Event timelines are unforgiving, and we plan around them.
Conference and trade show merchandise
Apparel, bags, drinkware, and tech accessories produced at volume for conferences, annual meetings, and industry events. Lead time and decoration method matter more than they appear.
Welcome and onboarding kits
New-hire welcome packages, onboarding gifts, and first-day kits designed to feel considered rather than obligatory. We help organizations pick components that work together, source at the right scale, and handle fulfillment to individual addresses when needed.
How it works
How a project moves.
Most projects follow a similar rhythm. The timeline runs from two to four weeks on standard work, longer for custom development, and it starts with a conversation rather than a catalog.
1
Tell us what you’re working on.
Share the event, campaign, or purpose, even a rough idea. We ask a few questions about audience, occasion, quantity, and the date you need product in hand. Those answers shape everything that follows.
2
We source and present options.
You get a curated set of products matched to the brief, with pricing, lead times, and an honest note on where each option is strong and where it might not be.
3
You approve; we handle the rest.
Once product, art, and quantity are signed off, we manage the order through production and delivery, with proactive updates and early problem-solving.
4
Delivered on time, on brand.
Product arrives correctly branded, properly packaged, and ready to use. Standard orders typically ship within 10 to 15 business days of art approval. Complex custom work runs longer by design.
Ready to start a project?
The easiest first step is a conversation. Send us a note about what you’re working on and we’ll respond within one business day.
